Who is CeCe Caldwell?

So many of you ask "is CeCe a real person?", "who is CeCe?", and "have you seen pictures of CeCe Caldwell?" I even had someone ask me "is CeCe a person or just that hat?" Let me tell you what I know about CeCe Caldwell!

CeCe is a real person, a lady who cares about our environment. She wanted an earth friendly product, that is why she developed the non-toxic naturally green chalk clay paint.

CeCe is an abbreviation of her middle name. She is a very private person just like many others whom do not use their real names on their products. For example we all love Miss Mustard Seed, which her real name is Marian, but we refer to her as MMS. Annie Sloan's middle name is Ann. Not sure about the Sloan but I was told her husbands last name is not Sloan. So if it is acceptable for these remarkable women to use nicknames and middle names than it certainly is for other entrepreneurs in our wonderful world. It's a choice. Their choice. Just like it is your choice as to whether you shop at Target or Walmart. Your choice as to whether you buy Starbucks or Folgers. Your choice of which paint you want to use!

CeCe's last name is not Caldwell. Caldwell is a name her husband used in his career. When you put CeCe with Caldwell's it just kinda sounded right!

CeCe was born and raised in the USA.
CeCe Caldwell's paint was created and is made in the USA.

CeCe's hat was given to her in December at the first Distributors meeting. It covered her shining face and started out as a joke before she met everyone "live", face to face. From that point it evolved into "who is CeCe Caldwell". Now it has become a "traveling trademark" making it's way around the USA to the Retailers to emboss with a thumb print and show up at events.....you never know where it might show up!

And yes I've seen pictures of CeCe! She is REAL!

Most importantly this is one example of what you can do with CeCe Caldwell's Paints. Meet "Caldwell"!

"Caldwell" is painted in Smoky Mountain Gray with stenciling in Simply White and sealed with Satin Finish! You can see "Caldwell" in my suite at Frisco Mercantile!

"Mandy"

"Mandy" is such a beautiful little night stand! I love the detail! This is painted in CeCe Caldwell's Vintage White with clear wax and a touch of my special wax that I mixed using the clear wax and colorants to give it the aging effect. I almost kept this piece....had no where to put it!

"Mandy" is named after my sweet southern girlfriend! I met Mandy at Frisco Mercantile. It was through my friendship with Mandy and another special friend, Paula,  that lead me to CeCe Caldwell's Paint! (I have a special piece soon to be painted that will be named "Paula"....so you'll hear more of this story) Mandy is my helper, encourager and cheerleader!  Mandy is loaded with talent.  She makes frames from scratch!  She even saws the wood!  I'm so amazed!  Plus, she uses CeCe Caldwell's Paints! Visit her facebook page at www.facebook.com/framesyall She does custom orders and has an Etsy shop too! She is an amazing young lady!

"Cara"

Everyone knows I love to paint my furniture white.  I decided to branch out a little and paint this cabinet with CeCe Caldwell's Vermont Slate!  I kinda like it....no I think I love it!  Such a beautiful dark gray color with such a soft look.  This would make a perfect entertainment center.  I named this piece "Cara" after a special friend that I've know since she was five years old.  I still remember seeing Cara's sweet pretty face the first day of kindergarten. I remember watching her play soccer, swim, play tennis,do gymnastics and grow from a little girl to a woman. Cara is getting married this October!  I am looking so forward to being at her wedding!

"Cara" is for sale at Frisco Mercantile!

"CeCe"

One of my all time favorite pieces! A very special side table with curvy legs and beautiful pulls! Before I started it was a dull worn out gold color with orange highlights! Not too attractive!
When I finished it turned out so perfect! Wish you could all see it in person!
I named this piece "CeCe" after the wonderful lady who created CeCe Caldwell's Paints....naturally "GREEN" paint in your choice of color! By now everyone knows my choice of color is white! I used Vintage White, simply white, and our new Dover white with a touch of Pittsburgh Gray on this piece. The picture does not do this piece justice! It is hard to see all the different whites in this piece, but trust me it is stunning!!! I used the clear wax and a touch of my special wax that I mixed. (clear wax with brown colorants....soon to be introduced) This piece is almost as wonderful as CeCe Caldwell's Paints! If you haven't tried this no VOC, no odor, naturally green paint you should. It requires little to no prep work!
Visit Frisco Mercantile this Saturday, April 21, for the Launch Party of CeCe Caldwell's Paints....all day in my suite on aisle 5! A free quart of paint given away every hour! Attend, enter with your email address for a chance to win!

"Sheila"

Sheila is my oldest sister. She teaches cosmetology, has one son and her first grand baby will arrive in July! I named this piece after her because she loves jewelry...I think this tall chest would be a great jewelry chest...and she could fill it up fast! You could also use it for lingerie or craft supplies. It would fit in any room of your home! Painted with CeCe Caldwell's Vintage White. I mixed a dark wax using CeCe Caldwell's clear wax and a brown colorant. Visit Frisco Mercantile to see "Sheila".

I named this special chest after my nephew Janson. Janson makes me laugh! He can say the funniest things! I always look forward to seeing him because he usually has a funny story to tell us! "Megan"

Several weeks ago I picked up this lime green vanity at an Estate Auction. The mirror was not painted. I decided to cover the lime green with my CeCe Caldwell's Hershey Brown!
Next I put a coat of CeCe Caldwell's Vintage White! Wow what a difference!!!
I took a damp cloth and rubbed along the edges so the Hershey Brown would come through to give a shabby look! The CeCe Caldwell's Destin Gulf Green painted inside the drawers give it a fun pop of color and so much charm! A coat of CeCe Caldwell's clear wax and now we have "Megan"! "Megan" is named after a special friend of my daughter Jennifer. This piece reminds me of Megan because it has so much character and the pop of color totally shows Megan's crazy, fun personality! Megan owns Splendid & Spark! She is so creative, gifted, and talented. Megan created my website! http://www.dooziescorner.com/ Visit her website also at http://www.splendidandspark.com/ Thanks Megan for all your hard work on my website and keeping me up to date!!!
